Marriage Tune-Up

Sunday, February 16, 2025

A tune-up is an adjustment. When it comes to our vehicles, a mechanic checks for low-fluid levels or less visible parts that might be broken and then fills up or fixes the mechanism so that it performs at maxium efficiency.

Marriage is the linchpin relationship in our families. While spouses should always be attentive to how its running, it also seems wise to schedule regular appointments to review and recalibrate as necessary.

So we’ll have a “Marriage Tune-Up” day on February 16. Marriage will be the thread throughout the morning liturgy and the explicit subject of the sermon. We’ll also have some additional systems-checks sessions after a potluck lunch.

There is NO COST, and you do NOT need to be married to attend.

Schedule

Potluck 11:45am-1:00pm

1:00-1:30pm - Session 1 - Jonathan will talk about magic and mystery in the mundane

1:40-2:10pm - Session 2 - Sean will talk about how spouses talk to each other

2:20-3:00pm - Session 3 - Q&A with all elders
